Renowned Italian jewellery designer Roberto Coin is set to immerse Riyadh in an evening of surreal fantasy and wonder. Come March 4th, the lavish Astor Grand Ballroom at the St. Regis Riyadh will be transformed into a classic vision straight out of 16th century Venice for the first time ever in Saudi Arabia.

Seeking to recreate the mystique and magic of Il Ballo del Doge, Venice's legendary masked ball famed as one of the most spectacular social events in the world - and for good reason - Coin will indeed give a masterclass on ‘The Art of Dreaming’.

Set to be graced by prominent Saudi figures and socialites along with some of the region's biggest names - although the specific guest list remains a surprise - the night seems poised to be one for the ages. Mimes, musicians, acrobats, butterflies and sensual visages in tow, no fantastical expense will be spared.

In addition to the Venetian spectacle, Roberto Coin’s boutique at VIA Riyadh will display an exclusive curated selection of Coin’s collections, with the Venetian Princess, Royal Princess, Princess Flower and other collections taking centre stage. Inspired by the intricacies of Venetian architecture, European romance and gilded reinterpretations of Fauna courtesy of the Animalier collection, the selected pieces at the VIA Riyadh boutique will echo the very spirit of the ball.

With Coin orchestrating every fine detail infused with Venetian romance and Riyadh elegance, one truly cannot wait to see how the night plays out. Now excuse us, we have to dig deep in our wardrobes for this ball. Oh and…would a lace mask be too cliché? Do tell…
