2025's Fashion Trust Arabia Winners

Since 2018, Fashion Trust Arabia has been one of the region’s most influential platforms for emerging talent, offering financial support, mentorship, and global visibility to designers across the MENA region. What began as a first-of-its-kind initiative has grown into a benchmark for spotting the voices shaping the industry’s future.

This year, FTA returned to Doha for its 7th edition, unveiling the 2025 prize recipients. Across ready-to-wear, accessories, jewellery, and debut talent, these eight designers represent the diversity and ambition driving fashion forward in the region. Swipe through to meet this year’s cohort.

Ready-to-wear: Youssef Drissi for Late For Work

Moroccan Youssef Drissi's label Late For Work was born from his final year project as a university student. The collections he designs can be described as professional chic—with a heavy emphasis on the chic.

Evening wear: Ziyad Buainain

Born in Saudi Arabia and based in London, Ziyad Buainain's conscious luxury label celebrates the contemporary woman. Infused with a multiculturalism stemming from his own diverse background, Buainain's collections, which are made using sustainable materials and zero-waste techniques, prove luxury can be ethical in more than one way.

Accessories: Leila Roukni for Talel

Founded in 2019 by the Moroccan Designer Leila Roukni, Talel Paris is a contemporary luxury brand with a sharp design and a focus on unconventional shapes. Inspired by Roukni's native Morocco, Talel's leather handbags and accessories are bold, but still designed for the modern urban life.  

Jewelry: Farah Radwan for FYR Jewelry

FYR Jewelry is infused with the spirit of the two cities where its founder, Farah Radwan, is from: Cairo and Paris. A theme of reappropriation runs through each of FYR's pieces, which are designed and prototyped in Paris and then handcrafted by Egyptian artisans in the heart of Cairo.

Fashion Tech Award: Fatema and Dalal Alkhaja for Touchless

Bahraini sisters Fatema and Dalal Alkhaja are the brains behind Touchless, a visionary brand that combines tradition with cutting-edge technology to reduce waste in fashion. The forward-thinking brand uses 3D printing to make its accessories, which are showcased and sold in London, Abu Dhabi, and Bahrain.

Franca Sozzani Debut Talent: Alaa Alaradi

Bahraini Alaa Alaradi was awarded the Debut Talent prize for her graduate collection, titled ‘Further Deeper Softer Closer’, which she designed as part of her master's degree at HEAD — Geneva.

Guest Country India: Kartik Kumra for Kartik Research

This year's Fashion Arabia Trust guest country was India, and the prize went to Kartik Kumra who in 2021 founded Kartik Research. Based in New Dheli, India, Kartik Research seeks to reintroduce humanness to clothing, with each piece being hand-made by artisans across the country on handlooms and each stitch embroidered by hand.

Lifetime Achievement Award: Miuccia Prada

Miuccia Prada is the billionaire head designer of Prada, and the founder of Prada's subsidiary Miu Miu. Her honoring at Fashion Arabia Trust 2025 marks the first time that a Lifetime Achievement Award is presented by the non-profit organization since its establishment in 2018.
