Dubai-based Samana Developers has partnered with Lebanese fashion designer Elie Saab to launch Samana Ocean Views Interiors by Elie Saab, marking Saab’s first foray into real estate and interior design in the Maldives. Known for his effortless glamour and timeless elegance, Saab brings his refined touch to this 190-key luxury resort, which features beachfront villas, overwater bungalows, and poolside apartments.

Nestled in the heart of the Maldivian archipelago, the project spans 47,100 square meters and is easily accessible—just a 20-minute speedboat ride from Hanimaadhoo Airport or a 45-minute seaplane journey from Malé. The interiors showcase Saab’s signature aesthetic, with soft neutral palettes, premium fabrics, and refined finishes that seamlessly blend the Maldives’ natural beauty with the ethereal elegance of his couture creations.

Renowned for his flowing silhouettes, intricate embroidery, and luxe fabrics that evoke a sense of fairytale beauty on the runway, Saab translates that same aesthetic into interior design. Soft neutral tones, rich textures, graceful furniture lines, and subtle yet sophisticated finishes define the resort’s spaces. The resort’s furnishings will also include pieces from Elie Saab Maison, crafted in Italy’s Brianza region.
