With a penchant for all that glistens and shimmers, Lebanese designer and courtier Georges Chakra made an appearance at this year’s Golden Globes red carpet. Dressing American R&B darling Andra Day and American supermodel Molly Sims, Chakra’s signature shoulder details stole the show.

Opting for a gold gown complete with pleated detailing and a statement shoulder, Molly Sims paid homage to the shimmering metal, echoing the very core of Georges Chakra’s Autumn/Winter 23-24 collection ‘Metamorphosis’. Going for a more colour-neutral yet equally stunning Chakra piece, the ‘The United States vs. Billie Holiday’ star Andra Day wore a dramatic ruffled and embellished black gown, looking every bit the Hollywood dream.

Based in Beirut, Lebanese designer Georges Chakra’s creations constantly and consistently embody three qualities; fluid cuts, intricate detailing, and bold fabrics.
