Swiss watchmaker Vacheron Constantin unveiled a new Métiers d’Art watch featuring the bust of Akhenaten, created in collaboration with the Musée du Louvre.

At the centre of the watch is a detailed representation of Akhenaten’s bust, set against a deep blue dial referencing one of the most historically significant colours in ancient Egyptian visual culture. The design is further enriched with hieroglyphic elements and lotus motifs. The watch is completed with a matching leather strap, extending the blue tonal palette throughout.

The piece is powered by the Calibre 2460 G4/2, a movement designed to maximise dial space, allowing the Métiers d’Art series to function as a canvas for cultural storytelling rather than a traditional time display.
