Monochrome Monday: The Sea Pink Edition
Sea Pink is millennial pink all grown up: sun-faded, slightly jaded, and all the cooler for it.
Pink is one of those colours that never quite sits still. Sometimes it’s playful, sometimes poetic — depending on the eye (and mood) of the beholder. It can feel delicate, bold, sweet, or a little bit stubborn. That’s part of the magic.
This week’s take on the hue drifts somewhere softer. It’s not the shiny, statement Barbie pink we’ve seen everywhere lately. It’s gentler — the colour of sun-faded buildings in Cairo, of blush that’s been in your makeup bag a little too long, of ballet shoes that have danced past their prime.
It’s the pink of fake gem earrings you once adored, of red leather worn down to something warmer, dreamier. A little nostalgic, a little grown-up, still holding onto its charm.
This Monochrome Monday, Sea Pink gets her moment.
