Lake Como’s Café Dior Celebrates The Label's Signature Toile de Jouy

We’re to-toile-ly obsessed.

Quenching the world’s thirst for opulence and luxury once again, Dior has constructed an entire floating café next to their pop-up at the legendary Lake Como hotel, Villa d’Este.

Complete with toile-clad sun loungers and parasols, and a pool emblazoned with the signature Christian Dior jet - as seen on the crowd favourite Book Tote - Café Dior allows fashion fanatics to take in the sheer beauty of Lake Como and appreciate the history of the iconic toile design.

The historic fashion house, led by Rome-born creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri since 2016, has drawn the café's furnishings from her Dioriviera collection, which exudes a sunny and understated elegance in Dior's iconic toile du Jouy.

The instantly recognisable toile has served as one of the label’s calling cards over the years, and has been enthusiastically revisited in recent years by their current creative director, Maria Grazia Chiuri.
