Honayda Serafi Breaks New Ground at New York’s Saks Fifth Avenue

Saudi fashion designer Honayda Serafi has achieved a notable milestone by becoming the first Saudi woman to showcase her collection at Saks Fifth Avenue. Her Spring/Summer 2024 ‘Cosmos’ collection, inspired by the realm of outer space and the contributions of women, such as Syrian scientist Maryam Al-Astrulab, introduces a vivid palette of blues and reds, adorned with shimmering sequins and crystals.

Serafi's designs are known for their blend of sophistication and modernity, a signature that has attracted high-profile clients like Priyanka Chopra and Lupita Nyong’o. Since founding her label, Honayda, in 2016, her work has gained international recognition, also being featured at London’s Harrod’s.

This debut at Saks Fifth Avenue highlights a significant moment for Saudi fashion, reflecting the increasing global presence of Saudi designers and their growing influence in the international fashion arena.
