Oh mon dieu! French Luxury brand Guerlain names the Yemeni-Emirati singer Balqees as the Middle East’s ambassador for Guerlain, the first Emirati woman for the title.
Iconic French luxury beauty brand, Guerlain, has revealed its newest regional ambassador, superstar Yemeni-Emirati singer, Balqees Fathi.
Balqees, a longtime admirer of Guerlain's artistry, embodies the brand's values: a passion for sustainability, a love for ancestral savoir-faire and a dedication to empowering women.
“I’m thrilled to start off this year with this exciting announcement. More than an ambassadorship, my work with Guerlain is a very personal collaboration - the values of the Maison are very close to my own, and its products have been in my vanity for as long as I can remember. It’s with great pleasure that I embark on this new journey with Guerlain,” wrote the multifaceted artist through Instagram.
The collaboration’s announcement was accompanied with an editorial shoot, featuring Balqees with Guerlain's signature fragrances – Cherry Oud, Tobacco Honey and the Aqua Allegoria collection – providing a teasing glimpse into the brand’s future in the MENA region.
