Actress Saja Kilani Wears Saudi Designer Ziyad Buainain to the Oscars

Jordanian-Palestinian actress Saja Kilani stepped onto the Oscars red carpet this year wearing a look by Saudi designer Ziyad Buainain. Kilani stars as Rana in ‘The Voice of Hind Rajab’, which earned a nomination for Best International Feature Film.

Buainain is a rising name in the region’s couture scene, known for sculptural silhouettes and a refined approach to craftsmanship. His work often centres on clean structure, precise draping and restrained palettes that allow form and fabric to take the lead.

Kilani’s Oscars look reflected that sensibility. She arrived in a sleek black gown defined by fluid draping and a high neckline, the fabric extending into a soft cape-like train that followed behind her. 

To complete the look, Kilani accessorised with pieces from Egyptian jewellery house Azza Fahmy. She wore the Lotus Bouquet Earrings alongside the Rising Lotus Cuff, both crafted in 18kt gold and sterling silver.
