Tunisian tennis sensation Ons Jabeur has signed on as the latest ambassador for Japanese sportswear brand ASICS. The 29-year-old athlete, most prominently known for her remarkable ascent in women's tennis, will now be sporting ASICS attire on the court, officially joining their global tennis roster.

Jabeur, who currently ranks No. 9 in the world and second-highest ranked African and Arab player in the Women’s Tennis Association’s ranking history, will compete in the brand's all-court Solution Speed FF 3 tennis shoe, complementing her ensemble with Kayanee apparel.

Displaying her excitement, Jabeur said, "I’m proud to make it official, signing on to become an ASICS athlete. I have always loved ASICS as a brand; their tennis products are renowned on tour. I also respect their unique values in the sports industry.” She continues, “Their focus on mental wellbeing sets them apart from other brands. ASICS stands for Anima Sana In Corpore Sano, which translates to A Sound Mind In A Sound Body. I’m thrilled to represent such a value-driven brand at the highest level."

A three-time Grand Slam finalist and former world No. 2, Jabeur's new role will see her bolster the ASICS roster at this summer’s Olympic Games in Paris. She joins a distinguished group of athletes including Novak Djokovic, Alex de Minaur, Belinda Bencic, Beatriz Haddad Maia, and Jasmine Paolini, all showcasing the brand’s high-performance tennis shoes.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ons to the ASICS family,” expressed Mitsuyuki Tominaga, President and COO of ASICS. “Ons personifies the core values of ASICS and will undoubtedly be a strong ambassador for ASICS in the sport of tennis. Ons is a leader by example, positive and successful on tour, making her a perfect ASICS athlete. We are honored to support her on and off the court.”
