The SceneStyled Catch Flights Not Feelings Edit

Summer has officially entered its airport era, which means large portions of the population are now dressed exclusively for security lines, delayed boarding announcements and the deeply humbling experience of removing a laptop from a bag while under pressure.

But regardless of whether you’re speed-walking through departures, slowly deteriorating at Gate B12, or pretending turbulence feels “kind of relaxing actually,” your airport outfit still has responsibilities. This is not the environment for sad hoodies and full pajama-level surrender. Airports contain too many mirrors, too much fluorescent lighting and at least one person from your past you absolutely did not expect to see near passport control.

The ideal airport outfit exists somewhere between comfort and suspiciously organised adult. Oversized silhouettes, soft layers, easy separates — pieces capable of surviving a red-eye flight while still making you look like someone who owns matching luggage on purpose. And if an airport crush happens to emerge somewhere between security and baggage claim, as these things occasionally do in movies and emotionally unstable real life, at least your outfit will already have done its part.

Dept Of Nothing | Ringer Spaghetti Top

A tiny sporty staple that feels equal parts ‘90s off-duty and airport coffee-run chic. The navy-and-white contrast keeps it crisp while the spaghetti straps make it perfect for layering under oversized jackets post-takeoff.

Peace Venue | Kirin Tee & Hakama Shorts

An oversized graphic tee paired with baggy knee-length shorts is basically airport dressing done right. Relaxed, breathable, and cool without trying too hard, this set was made for long-haul lounging.

Medina | Worldwide Camo Hat

Nothing says “don’t perceive me before my flight” like a good cap. The distressed one-of-one camo finish gives this hat enough personality to carry the simplest airport look.

Shabab | Dune Set

A windbreaker set that looks sporty without reading gym-core. Lightweight enough for summer travel but cozy enough for freezing cabin air, this is the kind of matching set that makes airport dressing ridiculously easy.

Alcamileon | Olive Striped Balloon Pants

These balloon-fit pants bring volume without sacrificing comfort. The drawstring waist and relaxed shape make them ideal for flights, while the striped finish keeps the whole look elevated instead of sloppy.

Rimowa | Cabin Luggage

The final boss of airport style. With its signature grooved aluminium shell and sleek metallic finish, this carry-on turns every terminal walk into a paparazzi moment — even if you’re just heading to Gate B12.

Versattire | Off-Duty Sweatpants

Baggy sweatpants are an airport essential, but these hit the sweet spot between lazy and intentional. The relaxed silhouette feels made for overnight flights and overpriced airport snacks.

Zee | Z-100

A sleek everyday sneaker that actually understands airport realities. Lightweight, easy to slip on and off at security, and comfortable enough to survive terminal marathons without ruining the fit.

Aida | Taupe Statement Jorts

These oversized taupe jorts feel structured enough to look styled while still being ridiculously wearable. A solid option for anyone trying to avoid the standard leggings-and-hoodie airport uniform.

Rota | Mia Grey Top

An asymmetrical off-shoulder moment that makes even the simplest travel outfit feel intentional. Soft, stretchy, and easy to throw on, this top gives low-effort glamour for early morning departures.

Zara | Check Cape Set

A matching set that looks expensive and feels airy enough for summer travel. Between the dramatic cape-style top and adjustable trousers, this one serves quiet luxury straight through boarding gate announcements.
