Revealed as Paris’ haute couture shows were in full swing, Saudi Arabia, which is quickly becoming the region’s luxury fashion capital, will play host to a showcase of sartorial excellence from homegrown talents and designers this Autumn. The event will celebrate fashion across ten categories, ranging from ready-to-wear to footwear.

Along with the Fashion Week announcement came a full report on the state of fashion in the Kingdom. Conducted by the Commission, the report predicts a 48% rise in national fashion sales by 2025.

Burak Çakmak, CEO of the Saudi Fashion Commission, said: “Saudi fashion brands have already participated in Paris and Milan fashion weeks to showcase their talent on the global stage, impressing fashion professionals and enthusiasts around the world. For the first time ever, we now invite the fashion community to our home during this historic event. Saudi is on its way to becoming the next international fashion destination.”
