Seeking to aid Palestinian students in Egypt who have lost family in Gaza, Egyptian label Maram has dropped a limited edition t-shirt capsule collection in partnership with the ‘Alashanek Ya Balady’ association, with 100% of the proceeds going to the association’s ‘Sanad’ initiative, which supports students in covering university fees, basic needs and living expenses.

The ‘One Humanity’ collection features two t-shirt designs, specialty dyed in slightly washed-out tones of green and blue carrying a simple yet profound message; one that calls for a shared humanity, interconnectedness, and a reminder that we all are ‘made from the same light.’ The t-shirts feature an abstract figure holding within its being swirls of light, visually echoing the message printed within the design.

“The majority have lost their families in Gaza and are struggling to pay for basic needs such as rent and food. We are aiming to support as many students as we can with this project and help build a brighter future for those deeply affected,” the brand’s Founder and Creative Director, Maram Aboul Enein, tells SceneStyled.

The capsule collection is part of the Egyptian label’s ‘Pray for Humanity’ initiative, which launched in 2020 and consistently partners with NGOs to aid in urgent humanitarian, social, and environmental causes.
