Egyptian Brand Meroë is Revitalising Neutral Linens

This ethics-first label is making sustainable sexy, one kimono at a time.

Meroë is the Egyptian label merging light, clean, timeless design with an unshakeable commitment to sustainability and the cultivation of a conscientious fashion future. Whilst their colour palettes may be muted, they’re not shy about speaking up for sustainability and taking a stand against unethical practices in the garment industry.

Their Instagram page reads “every piece is made to last beyond the season” - a statement which plainly and clearly declares the brand’s ethos. This isn’t a label seeking to jump on every passing trend and fad, but one that strives to create durable pieces which synergise function and beauty. In other words, they’re the perfect elevated basics.

Moroë’s summer pieces, which were featured at Egypt Fashion Week last May, are a lineny melange of neutral tones which bless understated summer staples with chic, contemporary twists. From breezy kimonos, crisply tailored linen trousers, to elegant dresses with playful hemlines, they form an essential capsule for the pending Egyptian summer.

Our favourite offering has to be this jumpsuit which is equal parts showstopping and ideal for day-to-day wear. The sleek, sleeveless piece features a straight neckline and sweet tie-waist detail, and is guaranteed to turn heads as you head out to grab some groceries or attend a swanky daytime event; it’s really that versatile.

In a rush to sort a last-minute vacation wardrobe? Fear not - all of Meroë’s elegant new garments and as well as their tried-and-true favourites are available for same-day delivery when you order before 2pm on the @botitapp on Instagram (available for iOS).
