Dior to Unveil Unique Capsule Collection With Denim Tears at GEM

Luxury French fashion house Dior will tonight be unveiling a capsule collection at the Grand Egyptian Museum with emerging American label Denim Tears. ‘Dior Tears’ is set to pay homage to black artists and creatives, weaving a racial counter-narrative.

The showing comes on the eve of their epic men's pre-fall 'Celestial' collection presentation taking place at the foot of the Pyramids of Giza.

Dior Men’s Artistic Director, Kim Jones, collaborated with Denim Tears' founder, and creative director Tremaine Emory to produce this unique capsule celebrating the lives of writer James Baldwin, jazz trumpeter Miles Davis, and a slew of other world-renowned Black creatives, alive and gone.
