Dazzle Like a Deity With Local Skincare-Makeup Brand Godly Pride
Tap into your monarchical era with Godly Pride’s baby-pink Italian-inspired products.
In a time overridden with harsh makeup and sharply outlined features, the need to embark on a journey devoid of covered complexions and darkly contoured cheekbones grows in urgency. An unwavering desire to micellar water the thick residue and linger upon your god-given features leads to hours spent soul-searching and configuring new means to highlight - and ultimately not hide - what you have to offer.
Honouring that sentiment is newly-launched skincare-makeup hybrid beauty brand Godly Pride. Born after years of explorative research and pharmaceutical expertise, the brand attempts to rectify the personal damage incurred through years of societal beauty indoctrination. “You should feel comfortable and proud of your own skin,” Maryam Elleithy, Founder and CEO of Godly Pride, tells CairoScene. “You should feel proud of your own beauty, the beauty that god gave you and the god-given features you were blessed with.”
Godly Pride beckons consumers to place all anxiety-inducing demands on the back burner, enshroud themselves in handmade silk robes and partake in self-love rituals. “The brand draws on the Italian renaissance, hence the deliberate positioning of Italian motifs throughout our shoots, website and socials,” Elleithy continues. “It was a transitional period in time much like how this brand embodies a dynamic and ever-changing period and bridges the gap between skincare and makeup.”
The line currently consists of ‘Further-a-dew’ tinted moisturisers and blushes, Niacinamide, Hyaluronic acid and Vitamin C serums, a Salicylic Acid cleanser and a ‘Holy Grail’ whipper moisturiser infused with their very own breakthrough formula. The beauty brand hopes to empower those using their products and in turn create a region-wide movement dedicated to fostering love-centric sentiments.
