Hadia Ghaleb Drops Swimwear Designed to Snatch the Waist

With sculpted swim sets, transformable gowns, and a new kids line, Hadia Ghaleb is expanding the HG universe.

Dubai-based Egyptian fashion entrepreneur Hadia Ghaleb launched her namesake label in 2022, quickly carving out a space in modest swimwear through sculpted silhouettes, high-gloss styling, and a distinctly maximalist aesthetic. Since then, the HG universe has expanded well beyond swimwear, branching into statement accessories like the Aleb Ghaleb sunglasses - crafted in 18k gold and set with 355 diamonds - alongside increasingly experimental ready-to-wear pieces built around transformation and styling versatility.

That evolution continues with Ghaleb’s latest collection, which pushes her vision of modest fashion further into full lifestyle territory. While most modestwear brands still sit somewhere between safe neutrals and predictable resort basics, HG has spent the last few years building something louder, more engineered, and far more self-aware. This new drop leans fully into that identity through belted sculpting swim sets, transformable gowns, multi-way styling pieces, and polished glamour designed to shift with whoever’s wearing it.
“The main inspiration behind this collection was creating a new era for HG,” Ghaleb tells SceneStyled. “One that feels more elevated, structured, and innovative while still staying true to modest fashion. I wanted the collection to feel bold, luxurious, and versatile for different women and different lifestyles.”

That shift is immediately visible in the collection’s sharper construction and more engineered silhouettes. The standout Belted swim set features three side belts finished with metallic logo detailing, designed to sculpt the waist while maintaining the sleek, full-coverage silhouette HG has become known for.
“The idea for the Belted swimsuit came from wanting to create a swimsuit that feels sculpting and empowering in a very fashion-forward way,” Ghaleb says. “I loved the idea of integrating structure into swimwear through the side belts to naturally accentuate the waist while still keeping the piece sleek and elegant.”

Elsewhere, the collection leans heavily into adaptability. Wrap, a leopard-print swimwear concept, can be styled in more than six different ways through detachable elements and adjustable details, while the new Gowns feature hidden internal strings that transform each piece into four separate silhouettes. The newly introduced Ensemble Sets - lightweight mesh coordinated looks - are designed for layering and movement, alongside sheer Cardi wraps intended to shift shape depending on how they’re styled.
Basically, Hadia Ghaleb wants one outfit to do the work of four.

“The most exciting part was definitely bringing new innovations to life and seeing them finally become real pieces people can wear,” Ghaleb says. “This collection pushed us creatively in so many ways, especially with the new structures, cuts, and styling possibilities. It felt like we were evolving the identity of the brand while still keeping the essence of HG.”

This season marks the brand’s biggest expansion to date. While previous collections typically featured around a dozen products, this year HG multiplied its range nearly five to six times over. Alongside women’s swimwear, the collection now introduces family looks with dedicated kidswear and menswear pieces, as well as an expanded ready-to-wear offering and gowns. The women’s swimwear line alone launches with six entirely new designs and seven exclusive new prints.
Among the new designs is “Demure,” created with a wider, ultra-modest silhouette catering to women seeking extra coverage across all body types. “Belted” introduces HG’s new signature metal emblem accessory with triple side belts designed to visually sculpt and snatch the waist. Meanwhile, “Wrap” features a built-in stretchy mesh belt with a removable HG metal emblem that can be styled and wrapped in six different ways, creating a completely new look each time, alongside many more innovations across the collection.

“The swimsuit names were inspired by the personality and feeling behind each design,” Ghaleb says. “Some names were inspired by femininity, movement, strength, or the mood of the prints and colours themselves. I always want the names to feel memorable and emotional, almost like each piece has its own character and identity.”
One of the collection’s biggest introductions is Shayla, a new five-piece swim set featuring a redesigned head-cover styling piece that reworks the classic HG scarf into something more fluid and multifunctional.

“The Shayla is one of the most special additions to the collection because it combines modesty, elegance, and functionality in a very elevated way,” Ghaleb explains. “The inspiration came from wanting to create a piece that gives women more styling freedom and confidence while complementing the swimwear beautifully.”
The collection also revisits some of the brand’s most recognisable silhouettes, now reimagined in fresh prints like Fiamma Rosa, Fiamma Ciel, Marmo, and Mare - names that feel less like swimwear drops and more like alter egos.

At this point, Hadia Ghaleb’s world no longer operates like traditional modest fashion. It functions more like a self-contained aesthetic universe - one where swimwear comes with hardware, scarves are engineered for styling flexibility, and kaftans are designed less for covering up than for making an entrance.
