Beirut’s Bokja & Egypt’s Azza Fahmy Collaborate for Capsule Collection

The Beirut-based collective, known for weaving stories through textiles, has partnered with Azza Fahmy for a new collection.

Bokja, a Beirut-based collective known for its artful collisions of textures, colours and hand-stitched narratives, has joined forces with Azza Fahmy, Egypt’s storied jewellery house that has preserved and reimagined heritage for over five decades. Together, they’ve crafted a collaboration that feels deeply connected to the past.

It all begins with the Sennefer Robe, a flowing piece inspired by the ornate ceiling of the tomb of Sennefer, an ancient Egyptian nobleman and mayor of Thebes during the reign of Amenhotep II. The robe carries echoes of ancient craftsmanship, draped into a modern silhouette. With Bokja’s distinct, artisanal vision, the collection weaves together age-old motifs into fluid silk. The pieces are adorned with stripped and frayed textures, and alive with movement.

The collection is dominated by hand-stitched patchwork, intricate embroidery, and prints inspired by Egypt’s ancient motifs, woven into structured jackets, fluid blouses and layered outerwear. Earthy tones, desert-inspired neutrals, and deep blues mirror the landscapes that have long shaped both brands’ aesthetics, while silk scarves and lightweight wraps add a sense of movement. Even as embellishments are kept minimal, the details speak for themselves, with textures, fabrics and craftsmanship doing all the talking.

The collection is now available at Azza Fahmy’s London boutique and online, and will soon land at the Grand Egyptian Museum boutique in Egypt.
