ADMAF and Dolce&Gabbana Announce Jewellery Design Award 2024 Winners

The first edition of the competition has concluded, with two winners getting a 6-month fashion internship in Milan.

The Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation (ADMAF) and Dolce & Gabbana have unveiled the winners of the highly anticipated ADMAF x Dolce & Gabbana Design Award 2024. Sarah Al Mansoori clinched the inaugural title in the jewellery category, while Azza Al Tawila secured the coveted spot in fashion. Both winners are set to experience a transformative journey, honing their craft through a six-month internship programme at Dolce&Gabbana's headquarters in Milan, Italy.

Under the guidance of industry experts, they will refine their skills in design, fashion, and perfumery, with their final creations set to dazzle audiences at the Abu Dhabi Festival 2025. Her Excellency Huda Alkhamis Kanoo, Founder of ADMAF, commended the creativity demonstrated by the six finalists, “Our aim is to strengthen collaboration between our two countries, the UAE and Italy, within the cultural and creative industries sector.”

Asma Al Fahim, Chairwoman of Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council and founder of Villa 88 magazine, along with Roberto La Lacona, Director of Marangoni Institute UAE, joined the jury panel. Renowned Emirati artists Azza al Qubaisi, Ahmad Al Areef Al Dhaheri, and Sultan al Darmaki contributed their expertise to the selection process. The winners and finalists were awarded by representatives of Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda.
